The children's poetry book "In the hospital" will be distributed free in Spanish hospitals

Carmen Gil has written a children's book of poems called "In the hospital", which will be distributed free of charge to 13 Spanish hospitals. The goal is for hospitalized girls and boys to enjoy it.

This book has been illustrated by Emilio Urberuaga, who has joined an altruistic project that began with Carmen Gil's volunteer experience, while visiting children's plants in Andalusian hospitals, as part of the Doctor Smile project of the Theodora Foundation.

These were times when the children admitted, and also those from libraries, day hospitals, and hospital schools, they welcomed with great interest the songs, riddles and poems that Carmen wrote for them.

With the passage of time, and with the total complicity of the heads of service of the Hospitals, he proposed to the publishing house SM for which she is the author, to print the texts. It was not necessary to insist much for the SM Foundation run the expenses of the edition.

And after telling you, I can congratulate all the people who have made this beautiful initiative possible.
