Tania Llasera calls her baby José Bowie, will it be the name of the year?

Last Tuesday Tania Llasera, has been the mother of her first child whom she called José Bowie Vilar Llasera, in homage to the late British singer David Bowie. The first name was already thought "I love the name Pepe," said the host of Mediaset, but decided that it would take a middle name, Bowie, after knowing the death of the singer, whom she admired deeply.

We already know how celebrities influence the trend of baby names, how many Elvis or Michael have there been after the death of these icons? Undoubtedly José Bowie joins the list of rare names of children of celebrities, but we also smell that Bowie can become the baby's name of the year.

A rare combination

Curious, no doubt. Not so much to give your baby the name of the idol whom you admire, that of those there are many cases, such as combining it with "José" a simple name, of those of a lifetime. "Pepe Bowie," how do you see it?

But she is not the only one who plays strange combinations. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West called their first daughter North and with that last name, you will tell me, "North West". It looks like a compass brand, not a girl.

David and Victoria Beckham also created a strange name composed at the birth of their daughter Harper Seven. The first, because they liked it, the second by the time he was born, because he weighed 7 pounds and by the number with which Beckham played for Manchester United.

The name Bowie, what does it mean?

David Bowie was the artistic name of the British singer, not his real name that was David Robert Jones. He bowie meaning, of Gallic origin, is "he who has yellow hair" so probably the artist took it from there.

So you know, if you expect a boy and you think he will be blond, Bowie adds to the list of boy names that are trending this 2016.

The Bowie Penguin

And of course, after the musical icon is gone, the name Bowie begins to sound among those who arrive in the world, whether they are babies or animals. At the zoo in Cincinnati, Ohio, a penguin was born whom they called Bowie because arrived on January 8, the day of the singer's birthday. Its plumage reminds us a bit of some of its chameleonic looks ...

Thanks to the penguin, children visiting the zoo will know who David Bowie was. Tania Llasera's son will also know, although we don't know if he will be very happy to take him.
