They have always loved each other
Obviously, it is not love as we know it, because children love very differently, much more purely, but they have loved each other for a long time.
Harrison, as he is called, has always said that he loves her very much and that one day they would get married. Maybe that's why Eileidh always told nurses that she had a boyfriend and that they were going to get married.
Thus, when doctors told the family that the neuroblastoma had spread throughout the body, and that there was no possible treatment, the parents asked him to tell them what was most important to her.
And since "marrying Harrison," his 6-year-old friend, turned out to be the first on the list, families made it possible.
An inseparable couple
