The love of a mother is so great that she gives her own life to save her children's

How far does a mother's love go? I dare to say that it has no limits. We can probably all say that we are capable of dying to save the lives of our children. How many mothers have not done it throughout history?

These days, Hurricane Harvey destroyed everything he found in his path in some parts of the United States, including Texas. One of the tragic news I read was that of a mother who died during a flood but managed to save the life of her little daughter.

This made me think deeply and put into perspective how fragile and short our life can be. It helped me to realize that indeed, I would also be able to give my life in order to save my daughter. Today I want to pay tribute to the mothers who have done it and reflect on the level of unconditional love we have for the children.

The news

I briefly share the news that I read and that was the cause of initiating this reflection that I now write. According to an article in Scary Mommy, during one of the floods caused by Hurricane Harvey in Texas, a mother and her three-year-old daughter were traveling by road when they were trapped in a flooded area. Since they could not continue moving forward because the car got stuck, they got out of it to get away from the walking area.

According to the police report, at some point they were dragged by the current and ended up floating about 800 meters from where they had left their car. A rescue team made up of divers and police saw them floating together and put them in the boat but for the mother it was already too late.

In an interview for People, police officer Carol Riley stated that they found the 41-year-old mother floating with her daughter holding her, and that the mother "definitely saved her daughter's life". He added that the mother did everything possible to keep her daughter above the water and that the girl had hypothermia but is already stable.

Reading this news made me cry a lot, imagine the last moments of the mother struggling to do everything she could to save her daughter it causes me sadness, but also admiration at the same time.

As human beings we always fight to survive, we look for ways to protect ourselves and protect those we love. And it was just what this mother did, keep your little daughter afloat as long as possible, until her last breath.

Infinity: this is the love of parents for their children

The mother of this terrible news died protecting her daughter, saving her life. Her ability to love took her to the last moment of her life. Because this is the love of a mother: infinite, unconditional.

Before we become parents, we have an idea of love. We believe that we know and know our ability to love. And while the love for children is different from the love we have for the couple, a baby comes to teach us that we are capable of loving a million times stronger than we thought. That we can feel that the heart, the body and our mind overflow with the love we feel for our children.

It is a unique love, like no other. A love that is impossible to measure because it simply has no limits. A love that leads us to give our best, to give our best effort, to deliver our last breath for them. A love that increases the joys and in moments of sadness helps us to move forward and fills us with energy. A love that leads us to deliver everything.

As a mother I know I would not hesitate to give my life for my daughter. Because I love her and because I want the best for her, I want her to have a full and happy life. In my hands is to show you the tools to achieve it, but I know that if at any time there is no choice but to sacrifice myself for it, I would do it without hesitation.

The mothers and fathers who have given their lives saving their children's are true heroes. They are special people, who they stripped everything to give their children a chance to save, regardless of giving up their own lives. My admiration and respect for all of them.
