It is necessary to make an early detection of hyperactivity and attention deficit in time

Statements made by the head of the Infant-Youth Psychiatry Unit of the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital alert us to a serious problem that can affect some 150,000 hyperactive children in our country. Detecting this type of disorders in time is necessary otherwise, in the future they may become adult people of a violent or depressive nature.

The problem lies in the possibility of confusing some of the disorders that we have mentioned with a bad behavior on the part of the child, according to Dr. San Sebastián, up to two children in each elementary school classroom can suffer from this disorder and in most cases they are never diagnosed, in part, by the great ignorance among the population about the attention deficit and hyperactivity. A great advantage in favor of parents is that these types of problems can be detected after two years of age and as we know, early detection avoids many problems in the future. The specialists indicate that one of the people capable of detecting these disorders is the teachers of the school, since in the case of inappropriate behavior, you can notify the parents so that the child is cared for by the corresponding specialists and verify if they suffer from either of them. disorders we have mentioned.

Now, 600 experts from all over the world attend the II International Multidisciplinary Congress on Attention Deficit Disorder and Behavioral Disorders, in which specialists will share information, propose new techniques or discuss different modes of action against disorders, and All of them agree on a premise, early detection of hyperactivity and attention deficit for the sake of children.
