Apart from all the possibilities discussed in previous posts, we have a new offer to do this Christmas with our little ones. Last November a new theater play designed for parents with their children from 6 months to 3 years old was released at the Cultural Center of the Villa de Madrid. Is called "Water Puplia" and is carried out by the company of "La Casa uncertain", which also becomes the first resident company of the Cultural Center of the Villa.
When we hear about baby theater, comes the surprise and the question of how young children can understand something in a theatrical performance. According to the director of the play, Carlos Laredo, "children perceive gestures, sounds, colors and shapes. The auditory and emotional capacity of the baby is not less than that of an adult"
This show aims to help the cognitive maturation of babies through the complicity that is created between parents and children. The play stimulates the child through colors, sounds, sensations ... almost speechless. It also focuses on the poetics of water and glass. The play tells the story of a girl who suffers bitter moments and in spite of that she cannot cry. It shows the path you are going through a world of emotions and feelings, until you can express them.
They are short, half-hour performances, in which the group of spectators is reduced to 25-30 to help the interaction between the actors and the babies. For 9 euros adults and 6 children can enjoy this experience until December 23. In addition, this same company will release from December 25 2 new works for children and parents: "The uncertain circus" and "The geometry of dreams"
