Beware of Sanutri Velactin milk for babies with lactose intolerance

It would be a question of doubting the safety measures used by the infant feeding companies, we can put for example the cases of botulism related to Blevit Digest, a preparation for digestive problems in babies. The truth is that prestigious companies in the field of toys, food, etc., dedicated to the world of the baby, make too many mistakes.

Now we know a new case starring Sanutri Velactin, a product indicated for babies suffering from lactose intolerance and also for those suffering from cow's milk protein allergy. AESAN (Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition) warns about the possibility that this product incorporates cow's milk proteins. Thus the 400-gram cans with lots 704962 and 707641 and the free samples offered at the points of sale with lot 704961, can pose a risk to the baby with allergy to cow's milk proteins.

Fortunately, a claim made by the parents of a girl they fed with this product, has made the company Nutrition & Santé Iberia SL find out the cause and warn about these lots. The errors usually occur and more when the human factor intervenes, it seems that the product was initially destined for another batch for children who did not show intolerance to milk proteins.

Companies dedicated to feeding babies should harden their safety measures a bit more, an error of this nature can end tragically.
