Double carts cannot travel by bus in Madrid

After several comings and goings, last year the measure that authorized baby carriages to go up to Madrid buses deployed finally came into effect.

It was something that all parents who lived in Madrid expected, but here it is not a solution "for all" since today I hear from the news that double carriage access to buses is not allowed.

According to the Order of February 18, 2008 of the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure,

"Access to buses with cars, chairs or double carts, whether tandem or parallel, will not be allowed."

And how do parents do with two young children? Can twins less than three years old not travel by bus? Well, not to mention triplets…

Public transport services are supposed to meet the needs of all citizens, including the smallest. It was necessary that the baby carriages deployed on buses, but of all babies, be authorized.

I understand that a double car at rush hour on a bus takes a lot of space, but that is not something that the baby or the father is to blame.

The solution should be given by bus companies providing greater frequency of services and not distributing baby carrier backpacks as I have read there. Because you'll tell me what your back is with two babies in tow.
