"The Spiderwick Chronicles" movie to enjoy with the family

A few days ago MMar told us about a premiere for children and not so children, the movie "Horton", to which we will add another special film to enjoy as a family this Holy Week.

Friday also premiered in Spain "The Spiderwick Chronicles", based on a series of children's books written by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black. As I have been able to read in the Film Blog, it is a film that can entertain children and adults, with lots of fantasy, adventures and good special effects.

The film features two twin children and their teenage sister who have moved with their family to a place where they discover a whole world full of fabulous creatures. They will strive to Protect the Fantastic World Guide and prevent, with the help of some of the extraordinary creatures of the Hidden World, that the bad guy in the movie, the ogre Mulgarath, take over it.

From here you can discover with your children the fascinating world that hides behind an apparent normal forest, using the "amazing eyeglass."

There are also movie trailers that advance their content. The protagonist twins are played by the same child (the one who appears in the picture), who is the protagonist of the extraordinary "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".

The good interpretation of this and the rest of the cast, together with the non-fall in simplifications, a story told with force, the great beauty of the images and excellent visual effects make it a film that children will surely enjoy, but that seems be also tailored to the elderly with more desire to be captivated by magic.
