The magic of Harry Potter reaches the most emblematic spaces of the Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid

If you are a fan of the universe created by J.K. Rowling or is one of your children, we give you one more reason to visit Madrid or take a magical tour of the Paseo de la Castellana.

Until December 15 you can enjoy 'Madrid, Magic City', an initiative of Warner Bros Spain and the Madrid City Council. Recreate some of the most representative passages in the world of Harry Potter in five emblematic spaces of the capital.

Is it so located outdoors, from Atocha to Santiago Bernabeu, and serve as an aperitif to the premiere of 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald', the second installment of the prequels of the saga 'Harry Potter'.

Madrid is a city with magical and picturesque places that evoke the universe created in the Harry Potter books.

Therefore, the outdoor places where the five works of the imaginary world of Rowling, have been selected to link literature and cinema with several of the most iconic monuments of Madrid with which they are somehow related.

In addition, each representation includes an excerpt from the Harry Potter books, and refers to the places where the writer was inspired. It is accompanied by curious data of the Madrid location in which it is located.

First stop: Atocha

At the gates of the famous station you can see the platform nine and three quarters, through which you access the Hogwarts Express train that takes the magicians to the magic school.

Second stop: Botanical garden

There are the pots with the mandrake plants that do not stop squealing and bring young wizards upside down.

Third stop: National Library

Here awaits you the 'Monstrous Book of Monsters' that appears in Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban "and that you have to open carefully so that it doesn't attack.
