Crafts: ideas for recycling formula milk cans

It is more than likely that many of you, parents with young children, have a few empty bottles of formula milk at home and do not know how useful it is to give them.

I propose you some original ideas to recycle your baby's milk cans. With some ingenuity and few materials you can turn them into practical useful objects for everyday use.

They can become, for example, beautiful flowerpots like the ones we see above to hang on a door, a wall or a window with the help of suction cups.

To decorate them you just have to line the can with a paper (better plastic finish) or paint it with spray paint (you can place masking tapes to create motifs as explained in Centsational girl), make some holes in the bottom so that the plant breathe and place a hook to fix it to the surface you prefer.

You can also decorate them with the decoupage technique with napkins to turn them into pencil holders, piggy banks, or to store small toys or sweets. Remember before removing the inside edge of the can well to avoid cuts.

Another option is to turn it into a lantern by placing a candle inside. To do this you have to make several holes at regular distances with a nail and a hammer and place a piece of bent wire from which we will hang the lantern. The trees in summer are very beautiful decorated with candle lanterns.

A homemade toy made with cans that we talked about long ago are stilts that pretend to be elephant legs.

If you still want more options in the Crafts.com you will find a lot of original ideas to decorate and recycle cans.

I hope these ideas inspire you to give some use to cans that you no longer use. Of course, if you have more ideas to share with other readers are welcome in our comments.
