Poster ... "Excuse the screams, we are in labor"

If a few days ago we talked about the "Do not disturb, we are in labor" sign, today we return with another of these curious posters, in this case to notify neighbors that a home birth is taking place... and excuse the screams.

It is a design by the author of The gray rat, who in this way gave the welcome to his son Pau, in a home delivery that he describes in an exciting way in his blog. The motto of the poster is "Excuse the screams, we are in labor", which are followed by recommendations for concerned neighbors:

  • Take a deep breath, do not knock on the door, do not disturb.

And he reminds them with great humor that "We are well taken care of and the family informed. We will finish as soon as possible. Thank you for your collaboration.".

Surely the neighbors would be aware, they would calm down, and I would apologize for the screams knowing that they were in labor at home; although surely there was not so much cause for alarm as we see how the home birth was carried out in the company of the midwife, the little daughter ... I leave some lines to give you an idea:

We turn off the lights, lower the blinds and, by candlelight, Vero begins to dance with the contractions. Each gasp is more intense than the previous one, they are repeated in a perfect space, every two minutes pure magic moving. Alicia follows me everywhere, from time to time she hooks herself on her mother's tit and gives her oxytocin so that everything flows at an adequate rate, she is an amazing girl. The hours go by and they look like minutes, it's delicious.

The description of the entire process and the Welcome to the baby It is beautiful and emotional, I recommend your reading. Congrats to the whole family!
