I bring you the news of the concert of the EOS Children's and Youth Orchestra in Fuenlabrada. It is entitled "Musics that tell stories" and will take place on the 12th in the Auditorium 'Tomás y Valiente' at 20 hours.
This great orchestra is presented to the public at an event conducted by Silvia Sanz Torre, and admission will be free until full capacity is reached. The director of the concert we announced founded in 1996 the Talía Concertante Group (GCT) which is a non-profit organization. The main objectives of the GCT are the orchestral and choral formation and the musical dissemination. It currently houses the following formations: Madrid Metropolitan Orchestra, Madrid Youth Orchestra (MAY), EOS Children's Orchestra and Talía Choir.
The Children's and Youth Orchestra is made up of Participants in the Symphonic Orchestral Meeting that the Talía Concertante Group organizes annually in Alba de Tormes.
The concert, entitled Musics that tell stories, includes the works prepared by the participants in the Symphonic Orchestral Encounter last summer (EOS 11): Romeo and Juliet (Tchaikovsky), William Tell (Rossini), Pictures of an exhibition (Mussorgsky), Fantastic Symphony (Berlioz), Scheherezade (Rimsky-Korsakov), and others.
In addition, these young musicians will play a fun play for orchestra and narrator, The legend of the forest of the batonsby composer Alejandro Vivas. With this concert, the orchestra, formed by young children from 9 to 18 years old, warms up engines for the 2012 Orchestral Meeting, since most of its members will return this summer to Alba de Tormes where they will prepare a new program, this time, on the topic Music in Court.
A training composed of young and enthusiastic musicians who will demonstrate the careful performances they perform of different musical pieces. They have the experience and professionalism of Silvia Sanz, who - since completing her studies at the Conservatory of Music of Madrid - has conducted orchestras and choirs in other European countries.
