The Faunia Nature theme park has reopened the 'star activity' of the summer season: now families can get to know the sea bears up close while they dive into the Lago Theater pool (accompanied - yes - by a monitor ).
Through a complete 35-minute program, distributed in four parts (reception, instructions, approach and immersion), the Lake Theater trainers direct this summer interaction with sea bears It starts with an initial theoretical-practical learning, followed by some first instructions on their morphological skills and characteristics, as an introduction.
When all the participants have already put on their wetsuits, the objectives of this activity are explained to the participants: get to know these wonderful animals first hand and explain the conservation project of the monk seal in Mauritania, to which part of financing.
Through the marine bears, the characteristics of their species are learned: habitat, eating habits, longevity, reproduction, behaviors… in addition, the trainers have first hand the personalities and curiosities of the animals with which the attendees will interact
And the most exciting moment is when everyone can approach the semi-submerged platform with easy access, adapted to children and people with physical disabilities, and then move on to the direct immersion with sea bears in the pool, accompanied by their trainers, the culminating moment of this refreshing activity that will take place until the month of September in two daily passes, at 13 h. and at 16.30.
The requirements to participate in the Baths with Marine Bears are to meet the minimum age (four years) and that children under 10 are accompanied by an adult. Group interaction is allowed (maximum 10 people).
Faunia will make available to the participants neoprene suits, booties and life jackets. For personal use, it will only be a swimsuit, towel and pool shoes.
The bear bath is offered in two sessions, at 1 pm and at 4.30 pm. The price ranges between 37 euros in passes from Monday to Thursday for subscribers and 45 euros that costs the activity from Friday to Sunday, and holidays.
