Many times we tend to find quick and easy solutions to make our children distracted and offer them toys and games that sometimes do not let them develop their skills. If we look a little, at home we are surrounded by elements that can help us game for our children and that can also help you in your learning.
The game that I propose today is very similar to this sensory game for children that I proposed in summer. Consists in form words with letters hidden in flavored rice.
With this game we get many things: that the child has fun, spend a quality time with our son, learn the letters and form words, and a new aroma: lemon.
To prepare the game we need:
- Raw rice
- Yellow dye
- Aroma, essence or lemon extract
- A couple of buckets to put the rice
- Letters to play (in the typical neighborhood stores there are magnets with the alphabet)
How to play
The first thing we will do is spread the rice with the essence of lemon and yellow dye. Then we hide the letters in the rice and let the children find them with their hands. If the child already knows how to read, we will ask him to try to form words with the letters he finds, if the child is small, we can teach him the sound of each letter he finds.
