TVE launches Let's Clan to promote English learning in children

We already have some cartoons in English (like Pocoyo) or with a mixture of English and Spanish (Dora the Explorer), but it seems that we want to extend the "teaching" of English to the little ones with new proposals. In the Clan children's channel "Let's Clan" initiative is launched to encourage children's learning of English.

This is a project launched with the collaboration and advice of the British Council. Through the use of the dual system (in televisions there is this option to listen to the programming without dubbing), it is intended that the audience of up to six years of age becomes accustomed to this language naturally by watching their favorite series in original version.

In autumn, "Let's Clan", which lasts approximately half an hour, will contain its own production formats in English, such as "Peter and Jack" and "Work and Play" of the Lunnis, in addition to Clan series such as Peppa Pig or SpongeBob in its original language.

For example, with "Work and Play" Lunnis they will teach children numbers, colors, new words and simple expressions in English. The formats will be of short duration to maintain the attention of children.

It seems to me a good initiative for children who already have some notion of English, although I hope that the specialists who, in schools, introduce children into this language do not forget. And the crisis also makes a dent in this issue in many nursery schools ...

You know, in many of his favorite drawings we can already connect the dual system, which, according to experts, helps children reinforce English. And later on Saturday mornings we will have "Let's Clan" with songs, fun and dynamic series in English With support from Spanish for children between three and six years.
