Today goes on sale (Amazon is already a few days ago) 'A new fatherhood', a very special book for us because it is a project in which two colleagues participate: Mireia, as manager and editorial director, and Armando, as one of its authors.
With prologue by Carlos González, the book also gathers the testimonies of six others dads engaged in raising their children: Alejandro Busto Castelli, Elvis Canino, Carlos Costa Portela, Alvaro Espejo, José Ernesto Juan and Ramón Soler, many of them interviewed in Babies and more.
The life of these men has turned upside down by becoming parents. But I don't talk about what they used to do when they stopped being parents, like going out to school or going to the gym. His life has changed because they they have decided to live being a dad differently, from the other side, remove schemes and models to grow with their children. Redo as people to be better parents.
They have chosen a different parenthood, involved, sensitive, empathetic, participatory, guided by the needs of their children, instead of "what man should do" or "what others say."
Just as 'A new motherhood' was born at the time, now the version has touched the parents with 'A new fatherhood', a necessary reading for all those men who are going to be parents for the first time, or who, as parents, want to have a different relationship with their children, learning from them and accompanying them by the hand to discover life.
We know that a lot of affection has been put on its pages, so I hope it will lead many parents towards a happy upbringing of their children and to find their own happiness as people in it.
