A Madrid designer designs a low-cost incubator for developing countries

When entrepreneurship and the desire to do something for humanity come together, things like the one we just met are obtained: a 'low cost' incubator that has been designed by Alejandro Escario, a young man from Madrid and that in addition to winning several awards, it is on its way to being a hope for the poorest countries.

Although the idea is not new (some time ago we talked about MOM, the inflatable incubator created under the same philosophy), the product itself is new because of the materials in which it is built, since It is made of wood, small pieces of plastic and an electronic part It controls the internal temperature and humidity level.

The prototype will travel on September 15 from CEU San Pablo University to the Maternity of Nikki (in Benin) thanks to the management carried out by the University Volunteering department with the Alaine Foundation so that it can be evaluated and receive the necessary design improvements.

Although at the moment it is only a project that is on the right track, it is possible that we can see it working soon in the maternity homes of developing countries. It is definitely a pride for our country and Hopeful news for all of us.
