"Be bold, be brave, shave" and more than 80 students do it to fight childhood cancer

She is 9 years old and her name is Marlee pack, is fighting a cancer, a malignant soft tissue tumor that affects your limbs.

His fight and his best friend, have awakened a wave of solidarity in his school that under the motto "Be bold, be brave, shave" has made more than 80 students of the center where both study, rape and also raise funds to fight against childhood cancer.

After diagnosis and as part of her treatment, Marlee had to spend several months in the hospital receiving an aggressive treatment to overcome cancer suffering, because of it he lost all his hair. But the hospital stay ended and she returned to her school, like any other child her age.

Her best friend Cameron, learning that Marlee had lost her hair decided to show solidarity with her, cut her ponytail and give her hair as a donation but felt that it was very little. Cameron He rubbed his head so that his friend, upon returning to class, did not feel different.

Solidarity is contagious

More than a gesture

The hair cut by the 8 volunteer hairdressers who donated their time and work to this beautiful cause, has been donated to a non-profit organization that raises funds for childhood cancer research, the figure obtained by this spontaneous gesture of solidarity has amounted to € 22,000 a figure that surely none of them had dreamed that they were going to achieve when Cameron's initial solidarity with his friend Marlee began to spread among them.

Marlee felt welcomed and wrapped up by all her classmates when she arrived at her school and saw what the wave of contagious solidarity.
