A beautiful photo to honor the mothers who breastfeed and those who bottle feed

Abbie Fox is a photographer, lives in Las Vegas and has two children. When she had her first child, breastfeeding was not as she expected and after six weeks of anguish and crying she decided to start giving her formula milk. Following his experience, and judged by other women, he wanted to do this beautiful photo to honor all the mothers who feed their babies, those who breastfeed and also those who bottle feed.

He wanted to show diversity as a form of acceptance, from pregnant mothers breastfeeding to another baby, as well as a mother who breastfeeds two little children in tandem and also mothers who bottle feed with all their love. Because, of course, none is a better mother than another and they all deserve the same respect.

Like all informed mothers, Abbie knew that breast milk was best for her baby and she was determined to breastfeed, but things did not go as expected. Only those who have been through this know what it feels like when breastfeeding goes so bad that the baby cries and the mother cries.

When after failing to breastfeed, she started giving formula milk to her baby, she felt she was pointed out by other mothers in her environment, from whom she least expected it. He received criticism about his way of acting, accusing her that he might not have tried hard enough or would have done it wrong.

In those moments the accusations are of no use, only generate guilt and increase the feeling of frustration. What a mother needs in a breastfeeding crisis is support and understanding from her environment, as well as contacting professionals who know how to breastfeed and can help her overcome the bump. And if she can't overcome it because she has reached the limit of her strength and is overcome by the despair of seeing her baby suffering, the decision to bottle feed is as respectable as to breastfeed.
