A father records the birth of his wife with a GoPro to be more aware of the moment, and this is the result

It is increasingly common to document the time of delivery through a camera, either in photos or on video. This trend has increased birth reports by professional photographers so that the father can be more aware of the mother and get involved in the arrival in the world of his son instead of capturing the best snapshot.

A practical solution that Caique Santiago has found to record the birth of his wife was put on a GoPro camera with some chest straps to capture the best angle and so to be able to live that special moment without worrying about anything else.

Liz, the daughter of this Canadian couple was born in Vancouver on April 29, 2015 in an emotional birth that was captured by the camera that the father was carrying his chest. In turn, the parents hired a photographer specialized in births, Cradled Creations, which he left registered every moment.

The video begins with images prior to the arrival of Liz. Contractions, monitoring and constant support from the father during labor. Then we see birth photos combined with images taken by the camera the father carried and finally we can see the face of Liz, the cut of the cord, his first checkups and the skin with skin with mom and dad.

An emotional video that conveys tranquility and happiness of the whole family before the arrival of the baby. The girl is now 22 months old and the couple continues to share their daily videos on their YouTube channel (Together).

"There are moments in life that are indescribable and will last forever. Our April 29 was like that."

Recording the birth is a very personal decision that future parents should value conscientiously. It is a very beautiful experience, almost always, but at the same time very intimate.

Having such an intense experience immortalized can be exciting and a great memory for a lifetime, even so that your child can see it as an adult, but there are several things to consider before making a determination. What do you think? Would you record your birth?
