Parents spend a weekend painting school bathrooms with motivational messages for their children

Motivating our children to be better people is something we should always work as parents. At school, this work continues with the support of teachers, who in some cases have gone further, such as that teacher who wrote messages of encouragement on the desks to her students.

And although at school those who guide our children are their teachers, we can also get involved in activities that help them grow. As was the case with a group of parents, who spent a weekend painting and decorating their children's school bathrooms with motivational phrases.

Mary Moore Elementary School in Arlington, Texas, chooses a theme each year to work on it and with it help strengthen values and encourage their students to improve. This year's theme was happiness and derived from this, the bathrooms of the school had a small "remodeling" a few days ago.

With the help of a group of parents of the students, they painted and decorated the bathrooms with positive phrases, so that their children could see them every day when attending school. Motivational messages, they included cheerful topics, such as hope, trust and kindness, to give continuity to the annual theme.

The photographs of the bathrooms and drinking fountains with the sentences finished were posted on the school's Facebook page, where many people applauded this initiative. According to CNN information, The school plans to expand this type of action to the school cafeteria and other common areas.

Some of the phrases are: "Kindness changes everything", "Every day is an opportunity to improve" and "Let your light shine". And the reaction of the students? It was of joy and pride, being part of this beautiful project that now adorns your school. No doubt a positive initiative that could be replicated in more schools.
