Kid Pix is a very popular graphics and text editor. It is included in the Kid Pix Studio Deluxe, multimedia software edited by the Broderbund company.
Kid Pix is specially designed to be used by children from the age of four, even if they still can't read. It presents in this new version many additional advantages that are added to those already known: new text sources, several groups of very attractive stamps, original textures to paint, a dropper to capture colors of graphics or photos and the possibility of adding videos. As in the old version, the option to work in English or Spanish is selected from the menu.
Kid Pix is integrated into Studio Deluxe with five other work environments: Wacky TV (a video display in AVI format), Moopies (creator of mobile drawings), Stampimator (animation), Digital Puppets (digital puppets) and SlideShow (creator of sequences). A great environment for children to explore, discover and follow their creative imagination.
It comes in CD-ROM format and requires Windows 95.98, XP, NT, Millenium or XP, a PC with a sound card, color monitor with resolution of 800 x 600 or higher, 32 Mb of RAM and 145 Mb of space in the hard disk
