Baby cry analyzer

Many times parents are desperate not to know why their baby cries, especially when they are first time. The reasons may be several, that you are hungry, sleepy, gas, that the diaper is dirty, etc. But many times, after checking all possible reasons, parents still do not know why they cry and feel frustrated because they do not know what your baby needs.

Passing through this same experience, the Spanish electronic engineer Pedro Monagas, patented an artifact that deciphers the cries of babies up to 12 months. Why Cry captures, processes and issues a diagnosis in a few seconds using a microprocessor that processes the digitally received signal.

The crying baby analyzer It has a classification of cries with five categories: hunger, boredom or need for stimulation, sleep, nervous stress and discomfort. According to Pedro Monagas, this classification was developed after a study of one hundred newborns achieving a reliability of more than 90%. To achieve a minimum margin of error, use rules must be followed, such as the recommended distance according to the baby's weight, that the ambient noise does not exceed 35 decibels and that the sounds collected by the analyzer are crying.

Anyway, a whole invention that seems incredible, how can an electronic device the size of a calculator know the reason why our baby cries? It seems that anything can be a better father / mother than us. Perhaps you, like me, have heard of Why Cry as something that is useless, and searching online we have found several more opinions. But that is not why we are going to rule out that it seems to some parents that the little machine has correctly diagnosed the reason for the crying of their baby. What is your experience?
