Magi or Santa Claus

This afternoon we heard a curious conversation in which a child proposed the distribution of toys between Santa Claus and the Three Kings. One pair of toys would bring one and the other toys the other. The explanation given by the little one was that in this way he could fully enjoy the Christmas holidays (not with these clear words).

What do you prefer, do you Magi or Santa Claus?, without a doubt these are different characters but with the same ideal, provide a day of happiness and enthusiasm to millions of children. In Spain, not long ago, Reyes Day had always been celebrated and Santa Claus was the tradition of other countries, but the trend begins to truncate little by little.

The children begin on January 8 the school year and the toys are received by them 2 days before this fact, specifically on January 6. There are already several children who say that it is not enough just two days to enjoy the desired toys and that they prefer to wait for Santa because in this way they can enjoy many more days of gifts. Here is the conflict, if you prefer to respect the tradition and magic of the Magi that nests in your heart, it will be these that dominate the situation and the toys will be delivered as tradition marks, the night of transition of the day of Kings.

If, on the contrary, you prefer that your children enjoy toys as soon as possible and do not believe in traditions of such tradition, you will opt for Santa Claus to deliver the toys.

A little reflection, the two figures want to cheer up the children, but the traditions are part of the culture of the country and in Spain they "reign" their Majesties of the East, so personally we like the Magi, but it is a pity that the Children cannot enjoy their gifts during the Christmas holidays, even if they have the whole year to do so, we will distribute them on both dates. What do you prefer, Magi or Santa Claus?
