Will a baby be born on the moon in 20 years?

Peter Worden, a NASA expert, says that in just 20 years we can attend the birth of the first baby on the moon. These statements are based on the intentions of the National Agency for Aeronautics and Space of the United States (NASA) to build a permanent and functional lunar base.

Anyway, this is the opinion or rather, the desire of a scientist, there are many interests and projects that will interpose in such an event. The space race is quite expensive in every way and perhaps investing time, money and effort to colonize the moon does not compensate, in fact other NASA scientists already indicate the unfeasibility of the desire expressed by Peter Worden, as they indicate that other projects should be abandoned , such as the mission to the Europa satellite that is in the orbit of Jupiter and where they believe they could find life.

One thing is evident, a lunar base will be interesting for science and the space race and sooner or later they will finish building it, in principle in 2010 they will begin to obtain the necessary funds for the project. Perhaps we can attend the birth of the first baby born on the moon, in 20 or 30 years or maybe before, it all depends on how events are outlined.

What we can assure is that it will be something celebrated worldwide.
