Cows that produce breast milk?

A few days ago an article came to my hands that says that Chinese scientists have modified the genetic sequence of cows to produce breast milk.

Apparently they have made their milk contain lactoferin, a protein that has multiple benefits for the baby and is only found in human milk.

In the article they comment on the discovery of a few years ago, and that we all already know, that artificial milk (which does not contain this protein) is not as beneficial as it had always been believed and that the best possible food is breast milk, crucial to prevent diseases and improve the survival of newborns. After seven years of research, the Chinese State Key laboratory for Agro-Biotechnology in Beijing has announced that it is in a position for its cows to produce breast milk in sufficient quantity to market it.

This news amazes me because it seems to me a true transgression of nature as well as being a great fallacy.

Not only of bread the man lives and making breast milk is not something as simple as introducing a protein into cow's milk. There is hundreds of components They will still not be present. They have only introduced one and are already calling it breast milk.

The size of cow's milk proteins is much larger than those of human milk, which is why (and for many other things) cow's milk is modified in laboratories to create adapted artificial milk that we all know.

By this I mean that the only difference between this cow's milk and artificial milk (which is also cow's milk) is lactoferin, since this milk would have to be equally processed so that the proteins were assimilable by babies.

This modified cow's milk cannot be called breast milk because human milk is an unparalleled food. It contains all the necessary nutrients and a immune potential that no other milk has, not even this one, of course.

It is also a living fluid that varies according to the needs of the baby and a vehicle for oxytocin, which in the breastfeeding process develops in the mother, in the baby and passes through the milk to the baby. That is, oxytocin, the love hormone, everywhere. It's skin-to-skin contact with the baby, it's an irreplaceable bond, it's love and it's love.

That is why it seems an insult to reduce the term "breast milk" to the presence or not of a protein in milk and an insult to women, to human nature and an exaggerated lack of awareness.

Women are able to breastfeed their babies in 99% of cases, the constant search for milk that supplants breastfeeding makes the already low confidence in the ability to breastfeed a baby to descend even more. And trust is something that is needed for a breastfeeding to go well.

They start with lactoferin in cow's milk and as we neglect they will genetically modify the cows so that they are capable of gestating human babies from an implanted fertilized egg. Then they will modify the cows so that their ovules are of human species and thus there is no need to transfer the ovule and finally the semen of the bulls will be retouched so that their sperm are human. What luck for those who cannot have children or for those women who do not want to be pregnant!

I apologize for my trip through the branches, but it is that this is not going more than the denaturation of humans. Breast milk must come from the mother, which is called "maternal", never from a cow, for many economic benefits it brings to its manufacturers.
