If you are followers of the morning children's series of TVE 2, you have seen that the characters from The Garden of Dreams (“in the Night of Garden”) have sneaked into our house.
They are very much like the Teletubbies, big plush dolls with indecipherable sounds, and the similarity is because their creators are the same. Like their predecessors they have something special that makes the little ones fall in love. My 2 year old girl is excited to see her favorite character Makka Pakka wandering around the garden.
As expected, derivatives of the television series have already begun to emerge as toy stuffed animals and a Internet games page starring the characters in the strip.
In an RTVE microsite you can enter the garden to play with the protagonists of names that are not easy to remember as Makka Pakka, Igglepiggle or Upsy Daisy. There is a section of drawings to print and color, print and cut, very nice songs and games like doing an interactive walk through the garden or a puzzle with Ninky Nonk.
