Many fathers and mothers feel the need to go to Support groups where to meet other people in the same experiential stage. Now, it has been created in Madrid a new support group organized by the Breeding with the Heart Association and that is done in the facilities of the Warp Center.
The group began its activities last Friday, April 24 with a general approach to parenting and the difficulties that families face today and especially in a big city like Madrid. The meetings are monthly, open and free. They are directed by partners of this entity and by experts in each specific topic.
The next meeting is scheduled on May 22nd and it will address two issues that especially concern recent parents and were proposed by the attendees themselves: start of crawling and complementary feeding, being invited to coordinate them a physiotherapist and a nurse.
Motherhood and fatherhood throw us into a new world of sensations, experiences and doubts. However, our industrial and urban society has ended up leaving families isolated from each other, stuck in a maelstrom of work and with hardly any time to maintain the relations of friendship and support that previously extended family and life in smaller nuclei offered us. .
The Criar con el Corazón Association defends the breeding of attachment and develops multiple activities, both through the Internet and in person in different cities. Its objective is to offer families information and contact between them, since it considers that these two elements are fundamental to live this era fully. For that reason, creating face-to-face support groups is one of their priorities.
