Buy head changer

From Decoesfera they advise us something to keep in mind when buying the changing room for the baby's room. Let us think about its functionality when we don't use it anymore.

The changer is a complicated furniture to buy as it will have a short utility. We will use it to change the baby for two or at most three years.

When the baby leaves the diaper we will no longer need the changing table and we will have a piece of furniture in the middle of the room that will not fulfill any function.

At home, with three babies, I have never bought a changing table. I consider it one of those items for babies that we can do without. Do not say that it is not practical, but in my case, with very little space at home I had to choose very well the furniture of the children's room.

To replace it I have placed a mattress (of those that are sold precisely to place in the changing rooms) on top of a high chest of drawers (Malte de Ikea 4 drawers). So when I no longer need it, I remove the mattress and use the top of the chest of drawers as a table.

But for those who consider it necessary and do not want to do without it, a good suggestion is to buy a multifunction changer that is then transformed into another piece of furniture such as a desk, a piece of furniture that stores toys or a chest of drawers.

Another solution is the accessories like the one we see in the photo (of Branch Home). It is a changing table that must be placed on a table and consists of a surface to place a mattress and a drawer where you can store baby's things such as diapers, creamers, wipes, etc.

The interesting thing about this piece of furniture is that once we don't use it, it becomes a seat with a drawer to store toys. When he grows up the child can sit there to read a book or play and incidentally we have an extra space to store his toys.

You also get tables-changing tables that fit just above the cradle. They are another practical solution to save space and money. The table is placed at one end of the crib and does not bother when bedtime.
