A personal touch to the school babi

Young children usually go to nursery or school with a babi on clothes, there are many models and colors, and usually carry a front pocket. We propose them a simple way to customize the school babi, giving it an original touch.

We are going to do a patchwork joining fabric scraps that we can find at home, or clothes that are no longer used. I can think of some clothes that we no longer use and that could combine well with each other and in the babi.

We just need needle, thread and fabric to make the patchwork designs. We will take the measurements of the babi pocket and divide it into squares or the shapes we want, different shapes can be combined.

We will cut the fabrics according to these measures, but leaving a little more to be able to fold and make the seams. When we have the whole piece just add it to the pocket. If we choose another place in the babi, an inner reinforcement can be made to sew our patchwork.

We can sew the piece of cloth by hand or machine, which will be strong and resistant to pulls and washes. You can also use fabric glue or even the adhesive tape to catch the bottoms of the pants.

We have gone beyond putting the child's name on the label to differentiate the babi. In this simple way we give a personal touch to the school babi, and sure they love them and their friends.
