There are still a few weeks left until the end of the summer and yet we all have the feeling that the holidays end. And it is that with a few days left to end August and with the "back to school" around the corner, we try to hurry the free days of our children.
This week the editors of Peques and Más have focused mainly on social issues without neglecting leisure and fun. And of course as the end of the holidays is already glimpsed, we have begun to anticipate some of the novelties that the next season brings us in clothing and group activities. From our blog We are committed to the education of children and beyond the academic field we know that in a few years they ýa must assume responsibilities in society and in the care of the environment. From a text of recommendations of the European Communities, we have published two articles related to the presence of children in cities and the impact of traffic on health, and the recovery of spaces for young people together with alternatives to cars.
For the same reason we have talked about the magazines that the WWF organization publishes aimed at children, and Marcos brought us hopeful news starring a 13 year old boy that you can read here, we have been glad that there are places where kids are believed and the development of science is promoted.
During these days he has been present the role of the family in many ways in Peques and Más: We have been able to reflect on the reason why there are few children in Spain, and we also wanted to foster a debate based on the question: What is the ideal age difference between siblings? . We do not forget that parents are increasingly playing a more active role in raising and educating children.
And how we like reading a lot We have shown it explaining that when children grow up the comic is one of their favorite formats, and presenting the news of the EDEBÉ publishing house.
There are always resources on the web that are useful for the family, in Peques and Más we like to discover them, analyze their usefulness and bring them to our pages. Leisure in Family is one of them, since it facilitates the planning of free time for families in the Community of Madrid.
To prepare for the end of the holiday we have begun to present some of the novelties in clothing for the next season (with Bóboli) and in school supplies, equipment, computers, etc. (with the English Court). Far from promotions is Entre Mamás that also announces the start of the new season with attractive activities for families with babies and young children.
It is very hot, so we continue to eat ice cream, and also explaining the advantages of its consumption. And besides cooling off, we like to spend a lot of time with our family: we play UNO, we go to the cinema, we visit exhibitions or we paint.
