I gave my children a horrible gift: parents who laugh at their children at the cost of their illusion

If there is something that characterizes Christmas, it is the illusion of children to receive gifts. This illusion comes from the routine, from tradition, from associating Christmas days from year to year with receiving gifts until children end up understanding that there are some days when they don't have to go to school and when they receive gifts, many of them chosen by themselves.

Well, there are unscrupulous parents (for me they are the worst, what do you want me to say), who are dedicated to laugh at your children giving them silly or ridiculous gifts like a ripe banana, a bitten sandwich or a hammer.

This video, which could be seen in an American comedy program and that apparently made a lot of fun to everyone is titled "I gave my kids a terrible present", which I have translated as “Give my children a horrible gift”, is a sample of this that I comment.

It is curious to see the reaction of children. The little ones are missed, but more or less accept the gift. The older ones, who already live with that illusion as a result of our behavior in previous years (we have been giving them what they have wanted), get angry and there is one that reaches the “i hate you” (I hate you).

There will be someone who says that it is not so much, that it is only a joke, and it is true, it is only a joke, but funny jokes are those in which you laugh with the other person, not those in which you laugh at others, they are children, they do not understand the joke and on top of them you record them and send the video to the television.
