This is the case of a pediatrician from the Carlet Health Center that He gave children fake vaccines by making parents believe that they were giving real vaccines and charging them for them.
Apparently they were injected with physiological serum and, as he explained, he did it because he "needed money" (as if the parents of those children had plenty of them).
The Carlet Health Center is a center that depends on the Department of Health. This means that all vaccines in the vaccination calendar of said autonomous community are administered without charge, because they enter through social security.
However, optional vaccines, such as pneumococcal or rotavirus, are given when parents bring them because they have been purchased at a pharmacy.
Dr. Elisa A.D., 52, told parents that she could get vaccines at a cheaper price than in pharmacies, to which many parents agreed. At the time of administering the vaccine, however, he injected physiological serum, charging the vaccine to the parents, in the same consultation, as if it were true.
The complaint came a few days ago, specifically on January 18, when some parents made a joint complaint to realize that the doctor's behavior, when administering these vaccines, was strange.
The defendant explained that she needed the money and that he had cheated, to date, about 50 children and four adult women, having achieved a total of 5,500 euros.
The parents were charged between 70 and 90 euros, according to the vaccine they administered (I don't see too much discount, the truth), and the four adult women, who I knew from a private consultation, charged between 400 and 800 euros to administer, in theory, the human papilloma vaccine.
The scammer has been released with charges while day by day new complaints are coming from parents harmed by the unethical of this lady. I don't know what the sentence will be, but it would be nice if you will be forced to return the money you have stolen.
