We have been in the edition MADbrick 2012, specifically on May 5, 2012 in the space enabled by CosmoCaixa in Alcobendas, Madrid. We enjoy, together with all LEGO® fans, the exhibition in which science fiction and space were great protagonists. In the video you can see many details of the collections of the more than 30 fans of these pieces and who participated in the exhibition called Beyond the stars.
We also participate in robotics workshops where the children learned to drive a real LEGO robot capable of moving according to the explanations and indications that Miguel Pulido made. Through an application on the computer, the robot was given the necessary instructions to perform its movements and manage its sensors.
In addition, ALE !, Cultural Association of LEGO Construction Fans in Spain, carried out a very special activity. With the collaboration of Fundación Telefónica and the APADIS Association, they were visited by a group of people with intellectual disabilities who saw the exhibition and participated in the creativity empowerment workshop using the LEGO building parts.
We are waiting to know what will be the next Lego event organized by ALE! and we hope to repeat because we loved the enthusiasm of the kids with their collections, which were of the parents, learn with the robots and participate in the activities they organized such as opening a box with a secret code and that had a surprise, or looking for 9 Lego characters scattered throughout the exhibition in a detective activity with the rest of the children.
