The Virtual Center Leer.es grants monthly (since April 2011) the distinction “Good practice Leer.es” to those didactic proposals aimed at developing the competence in linguistic communication that use the Network for its dissemination and that deserve to be highlighted.
The Good Practice Seal Leer.es is not a contest that must be submitted under certain requirements. The assessment team takes into account those experiences that are disseminated in the network and to which they have access (although they are open to communications in this regard). Among those selected last May is the Kirico club whose recipients are children, and for them this seal is an endorsement so that mediators (parents, educators, librarians) have the guarantee that children have access to secure information and well valued with the support of the Ministry of Education. In addition, it is a boost for the work of promoting reading that booksellers do every day in their bookstores and, since 2003, turn on this common platform.
The Leer.es Virtual Center is a platform created by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports to convey the enthusiasm for reading and encourage their practice, as well as provide materials and advice for teachers and families. The award consists of the accreditation seal such as the one reproduced above and the five modalities that are awarded are good practices in 'primary and secondary education classrooms', 'secondary education classrooms', 'school libraries', school libraries ',' collaborative work between centers 'and' other areas (among which are public libraries, associations or foundations).
In May, all these entities were also awarded, they have obtained (those that follow and others) the seal: blog of the club of readers of the Juvenile Room of the International Center for Children and Youth Book (Salamanca), the contest 'if you are You are originally from 'de o' Poetry for children and youth ', blog of the Municipal Library of Cocentaina, Alicante.
