The Association El Parto es Nuestro has launched a new website that I strongly recommend you and where high quality information is offered on the rights of pregnant women and newborns, the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the situation, still very improvable, of childbirth care in Spain.
This Association was born in 2003 providing support to women who had suffered C-sections and traumatic births. Soon, and with much effort, he grew and assumed several information campaigns to get more respect for the rights of mothers and babies.
The El Parto is Our Association, which form users and professionals, collaborated in the drafting of the "Normal Childbirth Strategy", a basic element so that a change in the mentalities and protocols is being carried out little by little so that the normal delivery is not attended as if it were a disease and with unnecessary and counterproductive medical interventions.
