A fun and very useful craft: ferris wheel made with cardboard for the little dolls of our children

Any craft fair has classic toy stalls, and more than once we have seen exposed those exquisite carefully finished ferris wheels that lead us to evoke tender scenes of other childhoods far away in time.

Well, let's stop getting nostalgic, and if we want a ferris wheel practice for our children, What better way to do it ourselves! The truth is that it would never have occurred to me, and although many say that I am very creative, I just imitate other models or vary from them.

Estefi Machado is a mother who lives in São Paulo, and She is also a designer, photographer and illustrator. So we are not surprised at all the beautiful creations that he exposes in his blogs. But let's go with the ferris wheel, look how simple its construction is. It is done entirely with cardboard (I will use boxes of those that give you the super when you want to move), and we also need a compass to mark the circle (or a template), 50 cm ruler, black marker, acrylic paints, cutter, white glue, binders, paper molds for muffins and head pins.

I am going to put the photos of the step by step that Estefi shares in his space: First, the base is constructed with a triangle. Then a circle is drawn (It could be about 30 centimeters in diameter, and eight sections are marked by drawing a horizontal, a vertical and two diagonal lines.

The interior of the circle and the lines are redrawn so that strips of approximately one centimeter remain. And to finish this part of the job the inner portions are removed with the cutter (which will be shaped like a triangle) and colored.

For the ferris wheel to rotate on the base easily we can hold it with a simple binder, after having cut a hole of a centimeter (In order not to damage the cardboard at the point of friction we could use a flexible washer).

Finally we will assemble the molds holding them with pins that we will then bend in the inner face, so they will not hurt anyone.

My daughter is going to love this, because she is always looking for ways to make her children travel. dolls. Do you cheer up too?
