During the last months, several open days have been launched, visits to the delivery rooms aimed at women, pregnant or not, and their partners who wish to know the facilities.

More than two thousand women and their partners have participated in the cycle of visits to the delivery room that the Hospital launched in June last year with the objective of reduce stress and bring tranquility to pregnant women.

These are open days that are repeated weekly every Thursday and that aim to show future mothers the different rooms of the Integral Area of Women and Children. Couples, accompanied by the midwifery team, have the opportunity to know the route they will take on the day of delivery.

The visit begins at the Emergency Door and ends at the maternity hospital floor, passing through the individual dilation, delivery and recovery rooms. Those interested can request to participate in it through any health center of the department or in the hospital itself.

In this center they have opted to offer comprehensive care to women, making available, together with facilities and technology, breastfeeding and child massage workshops that are taught in the different Primary Care Centers dependent on the hospital.

I think it's a great idea that these can be done guided visits to the hospital facilities where it is going to give birthIn fact, I would have signed up for my pregnancies if I had the chance. I remember that not knowing where they took me when I went into labor generated some concern.
