Funny labels for Christmas gifts, free printables

These days I have begun to prepare Christmas gifts from home and, of course, I have searched and searched the net to find the most original and beautiful wrappers I can find. Not only for what they seem, but because the fact of being wrapped by oneself, with the paper made by you, the labels, the notes ... everything is part of the magic of Christmas and thus we break with the pure consumerism that corrupts so much Christmas.

I recently taught you several ideas to make your own wrapping paper. I will give you today ideas for making Christmas gift tags, which you can also print at home.

In Funky Time they give us these labels with Christmas drawings to decorate our gifts. To make them stand out, use white paper (if the gifts are small, a sheet will work), you make a tie Bakers Twine (colored threads) and you put the black label.

These labels, which you can also edit yourself, are available to download for free on the DIY Network. You can download them here. To edit the text (names, congratulations, etc.) you have to edit with Adobe Reader (notice to Macs: if you open the pdf with Preview, select open with: acrobat reader).

In softer tones, by Love vs. Design

I have loved the printable labels of Icing on the Paper, they are childish but without being too full of colors too bright, with some beautiful drawings and messages. I think they are the ones I will choose for my gifts!

Although they may seem little Christmas, they are beautiful, super colorful and with an exquisite color combination. You can write the message yourself with a fat colored marker (the gold can be fantastic). You can download them from the Love vs. website. Design here.
