How children enjoy making their own necklaces and bracelets!

These Christmas days, between food and food, trips and outings, we have had time to take advantage of a gift from Santa Claus and we have spent a very entertaining time with girls making bracelets and necklaces.

It is a simple activity to which children devote a lot of attention and concentration, apart from having to demonstrate their ability by inserting the pieces in the thread, but even three-year-olds can start doing it.

To make your own necklaces and bracelets you need elastic thread and small pieces, along with the beads of colors and varied shapes that will make up the little "jewel". In many stores multiprecio already sell sets of accounts and thread, to us Santa Claus brought us a little box with hearts and another with flowers.

Combining both shapes and different colors, the little ones just have to insert the pieces into the thread, and we will measure to check the amount they need as they go to the wrist or neck. When we have all the accounts, you just have to cut and make a good knot joining the two ends.

Of course, there are many models of beads to make necklaces and bracelets, from classic pearls to fun shapes. You have to discard the smaller ones because of the difficulty they have for children (and the risk of them being lost more easily). Most are somewhat "feminine" according to the conventions, but there are also more "neutral."

It is an activity that we will do with the children to avoid the danger of having a piece brought to their mouths, they cannot be left alone. We will have a great time and we will be surprised by the "logic" they have to join the accounts and create the jewelry to your taste.

In the end, the greatest satisfaction of children is that they have their bracelet or necklace created by themselves, they will not stop showing them to the whole family and friends "showing off" their artwork. We already have two bracelets and two necklaces, and we will make some more pendant and key ring.
