Start the countdown to Easter: make yourself a crown with eggs for young children

We present a craft that we found in Sewtogether and you can take advantage if you have very young children at home. It is a crown with eggs, which can be used to adorn the head of girls and boys during (for example) a search for Easter eggs that you organize next Easter.

Its realization is so simple that it hardly requires explanations.

Necessary materials:

  • Cardboard of four different colors, acrylic paints (including gold and silver), brushes, white glue, scissors and stapler.

How it is done:

A strip (on cardboard) about four centimeters wide is cut, the length of which is five centimeters greater than the perimeter of the child's head. On the other hand the outline of some eggs of two different measures is drawn on paper (approximately eight and ten centimeters high). The template is passed to the colored cards so that there are the same number of small eggs as large ones.

Later they are painted in gold and allowed to dry, when they are ready, we will let the children decorate them with other motifs in different colors. Finally the eggs are glued first with white glue on the strip, and then they are stapled to hold them better (forming a series of large eggs + small eggs). The best way to adjust it to the head, will be stapling the ends of the strip from behind, to finish we will cut what we have.
