Aware of the importance of the role of the family in promoting the reading habit of our children, we present today the "Family Reading" Collection, a multimedia digital publication composed of ten notebooks whose authors explore reading from different formats and different points of view.
There is no excuse, neither lack of time, nor lack of preparation: parents can teach children to love books, and it can be done from a very young age. These notebooks offer us information and strategies for us to become reading families.
The ten notebooks can be read online, and I especially recommend the first number, entitled "Reading to children, with children, before children", and for teachers also number two, "Encourage reading in Infant and Primary" :

As a whole, these are readings from a State Congress on Reading Families in Network, with the purpose of offering a meeting and exchange space for families, teachers and other educational personnel throughout the State.
There he got value the importance of families in the development of the reading process, its involvement in educational centers, and was a framework for exchanging experiences between families from all educational fields of different communities.
Not surprisingly, reading habits and reading comprehension develop within the family from early childhood and, later, from school and family together.
That is why notebooks are more interesting if possible, since they arise from experts in the field and that take into account the relationship between family and school.
