Sunrun is a Tinysun application that offers entertainment while you learn math

Sunrun it's a video game gratuitous for mobile devices, available for iOS and Android systems, whose main objective is work mental activity in children, although not bad for adults, while playing and having fun. The objective is to achieve records, overcome objectives, share them in the community of players and access new levels until the ten are completed. Many years ago I thought that repetitive learning tasks would have to take advantage of other ways of gaining knowledge, for example, using songs to learn history (and that it is already working today). The technology that there was then did not allow to get cheap developments to carry out the experiment and nowadays, in which it is relatively simple to develop an application and make it available to everyone who has mobile devices, not doing so is clearly a mistake.

In the game the goal is to get a nice cartoon to gain speed while answering mathematical challenges: Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. In addition you have to jump obstacles while running with what many skills are put into play: reflexes, precision, attention, calculation, discipline, etc. Its authors say they wanted the video game to have content to encourage learning and that they want to present it in the school environment. One of the authors is a primary school teacher so he knows what the needs are and he has tried, and I think he has achieved it, with this application.

Also in Sunrun They want to learn what children or adults do with the application and all the game data is sent to the server to generate a ranking, which can be viewed on the company's website: Tinysun. This is an unstoppable trend and soon we will see many companies that will begin to take advantage of this data to transform them into knowledge and new developments. The application is available in English, Spanish and Valencian. Here you can see a very complete presentation video with statements by its authors:

The company that has developed it, as we said, is called Tinysun and is formed by a small group of programmers dedicated to the development of mobile applications with offices in Elda, Alicante. The entrepreneurs are Víctor Albertos, graduated in Psychology and Anthropology at the Miguel Hernández University (UMH), Adrián Rubio, graduated in Economics from the National University of Distance Education (UNED) and José David Pérez, Technical Engineer in Telecommunications from the UMH. The three are the founders of Tinysun which is dedicated to the development of mobile applications and the publication of valuable content for companies and entrepreneurs who wish to use it using the Internet as a lever.

I liked the application a lot, it allows us to strive to beat the record complemented by the essential need to know how to operate with numbers. I have passed the first two levels and in the second one, we had to make sums of numbers with two figures, which requires greater attention and the development of skills among those who play.

You I wish Tinysun many successes and I encourage you to continue with that line of work that unites game, entertainment, learning, discipline and self-demand.
