He Madrid Aquarium Zoo opens a new call for his classic photo contest that this year turns 21. Until August 31, 2013, all fans and professionals in the world of photography and nature will be able to compete in the contest. The XXI Zoo Aquarium Photographic Contest in Madrid aims to capture the essence of the park through the personality of its more than 5,000 animals and 600 different species along the 22 hectares that make it up with the eyes and experiences of the visitor.
The photographers and amateurs can present themselves to the contest and the best snapshot taken at the Zoo will be awarded in addition to two accésits, in the category of exhibitions (including Zoo Nights) and facilities, respectively. The maximum number is four photos per contestant. As the organization explains, will reward the most creative, artistic and original photos. The jury's decision, which will be made up of Zoo Aquarium in Madrid, Dinasa and the companies that collaborate: Kinépolis, Fnac España, Entrada.com and Canal Panda, will be presented at September 2014 and from October the 40 selected photographs will be exhibited in the Aquarium Hall of the Madrid Zoo.
The prizes, in each of the categories, will be the following:
Best photography Zoo Aquarium in Madrid 2014
- First prize: FNAC gift card valued at 250 euros and a heel of 200 euros that can be exchanged for photographic works at the Dinasa digital photographic laboratory before December 31, 2014.
- Second and third prize: individual pass Zoo Club to access the park for a year, from the formalization of it in the offices of the Zoo.
Accésit exhibitions, including Zoo Nights
- First prize: FNAC gift card valued at 100 euros and a heel of 200 euros exchangeable for photographic works in Dinasa before December 31, 2014.
- Second prize: a pack of tickets.com which includes two Bernabéu Tour invitations, two Vicente Calderón Tour invitations and four invitations for the New Apollo VIP box valid until December 31, 2014.
- Third prize: 10 tickets to go to any movie (depending on availability) in Cinemas Kinépolis until December 31, 2014.
Second best photo of facilities
- First prize: a pack of panda-themed gifts awarded by “Canal Panda” valued at 200 euros and a heel of 200 euros redeemable for photographic works in Dinasa before December 31, 2014.
- Second prize: gift card FNAC valued at 100 euros and redeemable before December 31, 2014.
- Third prize: a pack of tickets.com, depending on availability, which includes two Bernabéu Tour invitations, two Vicente Calderón Tour invitations and four invitations for the New Apollo VIP box, valid until December 31, 2014.
From the organization they also want to reward and thank all the participants whose photographs have been selected by the Jury for the exhibition even if they have not obtained any of the previous prizes. For them there will be a double entrance for Madrid Aquarium Zoo valid until December 31, 2014.
