Although the recipe is going to be prepared with red fruits, you can use other fruits of your liking, although we have made it with berries such as blueberries, currants, raspberries and blackberries for its antioxidant power and intense flavor.

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 300 g of frozen red fruits, 1 egg white 2 tablespoons of icing sugar

How to make a red fruit sorbet

To make the recipe, ideal to finish off a summer dinner or to take mid afternoon on these hot days, it is necessary that we have the frozen fruit in advance. We can cut small pieces and freeze at least 6 hours.

The good of the red fruits are that they sell them already frozen and we can have them ready when we want to prepare this recipe simply by opening the package of fruit that we have bought for this and other preparations.

We put the red fruits in the glass of the Thermomix or similar robot and crush them during 2 minutes at maximum speed. The result will be a kind of reddish grit like the one you see in the following photos.

Now comes the easiest. We add an egg white and two tablespoons well loaded with icing sugar and mix again for 30 seconds at maximum speed and get a creamy sorbet.
