Mattel will continue to make toys based on DC comics characters and accessories

Last month it was learned that Mattel and Warner Bros Consumer Products, renewed their multi-year contract that allows the toy company continue manufacturing DC Comics characters and accessories, including Batman, the Flash, Superman, Green Lantern, and others.

Mattel also maintains the authorization on rights for intellectual property in film and television of Warner Bros, thus ensuring be able to produce toys as merchandising of the next films from DC Comics, and also for animation projects (including television).

From the next releases planned by DC Comics, it is known that During the summer of 2015, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be released; In addition, a film about The Justice League has recently been confirmed. On the other hand, "Gotham", "Constantine" and "iZOMBIE" will be released in the United States in the next 2014/15 season; and as you know, “The Flash” will also arrive in Spain in October… the toys manufactured around these productions will be Mattel's.

The two companies carry 15 years working together, and creating action figures, vehicles and accessories; counting on all ranges of DC Comics Super Heroes action figures.
