My Little Sweet Pea: taking advantage of the pregnant woman's belly to make art

The belly of the pregnant woman when she is already in the third trimester of pregnancy is one of the most curious forms acquired by the woman's body, which acquires beauty for two reasons: it is provisional, it is ephemeral and the cause is the growth of the baby that It is inside.

The fact that it has an "expiration date" makes many women want to do something special to remember it, something like a "belly farewell." There are those who make a mold and there are those who paint their belly, as they do in 'My Little Sweet Pea', where they take advantage of the woman's body shape to make art.

'My Little Sweet Pea' is the name of the project by Carrie Preston, an art graduate who decided one day to decorate, in her workshop or at home, the bellies of pregnant women. It is not the only thing he does, because he also decorates children's rooms and furniture, but it seems that the belly is what he is giving the most to talk about.

She is not the only artist who is dedicated to it and she is not the first one, but she already has a few works and I'm sure that some of the drawings are funny or maybe she even inspires you to do something similar. Come on, if you had ever thought of doing something similar, you can't miss his art.

I leave you below with the photos that I liked the most, but you can see more on their website.
