The jury of MasterChef Junior explains in the FesTVal of Vitoria the keys to be the winner

Pepe Rodríguez, Samantha Vallejo-Nágera and Jordi Cruz have explained their impressions of the new edition of the contest at the Vitoria Television Festival. They are in full shooting and explain that they want children to learn, to evolve and to have a good attitude. We remember that the contest has received more than 5,000 applications for children between 8 and 12 years old, double that of the first edition. As you can see in the image the jury of Junior MasterChef, who has shared with the young followers of the program a chocolate, pose in the image with Mario, Ana Luna Y Not, contestants of the 2013 edition.

According to Pepe Rodríguez, "the new contestants are more trained and cook very well." Also the jury of the program has confessed that they have a hard time being very demanding because, says Jordi, "when they exceed your expectations you can't be tough." He also explained that this year the program will continue to be responsible and that it will help create healthy habits.

For Samantha, the key is the evolution of small chefs: "We want them to learn, to evolve, their attitude is the most important." The three have also agreed that Junior MasterChef It will be, again, very exciting: “in the first program, which is the last phase of casting, 25 you have to stay with 16. It is very emotional,” said Pepe Rodríguez.

Last year, Mario, Ana Luna, Noa, Juan, Esther, Aimar and the rest of their classmates revolutionized kitchens and showed that children can also be great chefs. They had a great time playing and cooking for Jordi, Pepe and Samantha.

The first edition of 'MasterChef Junior', broadcast last Christmas in La 1 and presented by Eva González, conquered the viewers: 3.5 million viewers and an 18% share of the average followed the space. The final, in which Mario, 12, conquered the jury, broke records, with almost 4.4 million followers, and a 21.7% share.

So this year 2014 sure the figures are more surprising. What I like most about the program is watching how children strive to get a dish that attracts attention and they put into it all their efforts, their knowledge and their communication skills, which are fundamental to explain and send the message to the jury and to the spectators that we are watching on television.
