Our children are mirrors that reflect everything about us, even what we don't like. They learn from what we do as we have to behave, assimilate our reactions (positive and negative) and turn them into their way of reacting. Even as mirrors, they give us back an image of our virtues and defects, values and contradictions.
That serves as a reminder of the great influence and responsibility that parenting gives us, but it also sometimes exasperates and annoys us when we see something we hate about ourselves and don't want to recognize what we do. Therefore our question of the week is this:
What things you don't like about yourself are reflected in your child?
